Fidan Hajiaga gizi Hajiyeva, was born on September 7, 1976 in Baku. She is a prominent mezzo-soprano opera singer, People's Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Currently, she is a soloist of the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater.
In 1984, Fidan began his musical career by enrolling in the piano class of the Bulbul Secondary Specialized Music School. After graduating from this school in 1994, he received vocal training in the class of Professor Huseyn Aliyev at the Baku Music Academy. In 1998, he further improved his art by attending master classes with the famous Russian mezzo-soprano Irina Arkhipova.
Fidan's professional stage debut took place in 1996 at the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, performing the role of "The Singing Girl" in Uzeyir Hajibeyli's opera "Koroglu". Since then, she has performed many leading roles in both national and classical operas. Some of them are:

Her performance as Carmen in particular was highly acclaimed, and she became the second Azerbaijani performer to portray this character, after Fatma Mukhtarova.
In addition to supporting young talents, Fidan founded the Music Center bearing his name in 2015. This center provides training in vocal performance, piano, saxophone, violin, and guitar. The center later became the “Fidan Hajiyeva Vocal Music School,” where Fidan herself teaches students and organizes concerts to showcase their development.
